Hey, it's been a little while since we've posted but we had a great weekend this weekend at Tynedale RFC. Thanks for hosting us.

Also, while we have your attention, our senior team's page has been somewhat lacking of late as a while ago we lost access. We now have a shiny new page here Seghill RFC if you could all like and follow, we have some great content coming soon.

The weather really hasn't helped this season. Making up for lost time, with Saturday and Sunday rugby for 3 weeks running.
..oh and did we mention it's FREE

Well that's 2023 done for us. We might not be the biggest team in the county but we have a really great group of kids who rock up week in, week out and it makes it all worthwhile.

Thanks to all you parents too, sometimes it's a bit bleak standing on the touch line in the rubbish weather but that support makes all the difference.

Have a very merry Christmas and we'll see you all in the New Year. We have planned games on the 7th January but we'll post updates when we have firmer details.

We'll aim to return on the 6th Jan for training, weather and coach availability permitting.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Last weekend it was snowmen and sledging. This weekend it's our last fixtures of the year.

It's been a soggy few weeks, but tomorrow our U10s are away at Novocastrians RFC in a three way with Tynedale RFC and our U8s host Alnwick RFC at home.

At yesterday's game, Seghill and Wallsend held a minutes silence for Dave Campbell, a former Seghill President. Dave was an avid supporter of local rugby but, more importantly, a true Gentleman. His passion for Rugby inspired those around him and the club is saddened by his loss.

It's a busy remembrance weekend this weekend. Our first team has their first home game in a while on Saturday. Meanwhile on Sunday our U10s are hosting Ashington Rugby Club and our U8s host Northern Football Club and Wallsend RFC. It'll be nice to see the majority of Welfare Park alive with rugby.
