One of the best things about paddlesport is the community.

Our Improver Course isn't just about learning new skills. It's about meeting fellow paddlers, spending time outdoors and becoming part of a welcoming club environment.

Many paddlers who complete the course go on to join the club and enjoy regular paddling throughout the summer.

Our 3-Session Paddlesport Taster Course is designed specifically for adults who are completely new to paddling.

Over three relaxed evening sessions on the beautiful Seaton estuary, you'll learn:
✅ How to get in and out of your craft safely
✅ Basic paddling skills
✅ What equipment and clothing you need
✅ Essential safety knowledge

You'll also work towards the Paddle UK Start and Paddle Safer Awards – the perfect first step on your paddling journey.

🌊Got an adventurous 11–16 year old?

Our Junior Paddling Academy is the perfect way to get them outdoors, active, and building confidence on the water. 🚣

Designed as a progressive learning journey, this programme helps young paddlers develop the skills they need to paddle safely — while having plenty of fun along the way!

🎯Work towards Paddle UK Awards:
✔️Paddle Start – a fun introduction to kayaking & canoeing
✔️Paddle Discover – building confidence through new experiences
✔️Paddle Explore – becoming skilled and ready to plan journeys

There’s no pressure and no fixed timeline — everyone progresses at their own pace in a supportive environment.

🗓️ Saturday morning sessions
We’ve chosen weekends to make things easier for families and give young people a more relaxed, enjoyable experience.

🌊Sessions are fun, active… and sometimes a little wet!

⚠️Important info:
❗️Must be able to swim 50m (buoyancy aids provided)
❗️Suitable for enthusiastic beginners
❗️Limited spaces available
