Linzi Dye revels in Coach of the Year Award in pursuit of improvement.

Dye's success at the recent Scottish Golf Awards was a rich reward for the enthusiasm, energy and endeavour of The West Kilbride Golf Club PGA Professional as she topped a keenly contested category.

“As a coach you don’t do this for any accolades. I don’t anyway. I just do it because I love it. I just want to bring more people into golf and change the environment while helping to future proof the club.”

Join The Drive! 🏌️‍♀️

We’re delighted to announce the launch of a new female coach network that is designed to support and empower women in the game.⛳

'Join The Drive’ builds on our existing Women and Girls’ Strategy and the 12-month programme kicks off this week when 18 female coaches take part in an online forum.💻

Scottish Golf’s newly crowned Coach of the Year – West Kilbride’s Linzi Dye (pictured) – is just one of the PGA qualified coaches to enrol in the programme.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Clare Queen, Head of Performance and Pathways at Scottish Golf, said:

“This programme will have two clear benefits - we are committed to supporting female coaches to maximise their potential and, through their example, demonstrate that there is a clear pathway for development that other women with a passion for the game might choose to follow.”
