End of an Era – Seaham Red Star U11

As the final whistle blows on this incredible journey, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that Seaham Red Star U11 will be folding at the end of this season. During our tenure we achieved 4 promotions in 5 seasons together as a club which is an amazing achievement.

Over the past five years, this team has been more than just football. It’s been a proper footballing family which is the way we wanted it to go from the get go. From muddy pitches to last-minute goals, from early morning kick-offs to unforgettable tournaments, the memories we’ve made together will last a lifetime.

A massive thank you to Carl, our manager, whose leadership and commitment behind the scenes kept everything running smoothly - your efforts have never gone unnoticed. To Luke, whose dedication as a coach has helped shape not just players, but confident young people moving on in their footballing journey.

To every player, parent and supporter who’s been part of this journey: THANK YOU. You’ve made these years truly special.

Though the team may be ending, the friendships, lessons and memories will live on.

We will celebrate together as a club one last time on the 26th July for our presentation night, where we can all reminisce over the good times.

2024/25 done and dusted
Started with a good away win and finished with a tough away one.
Lads were unlucky today starting when opposition player handled in our box and ref gave them a pen 😡
All uphill from there.
Been a long tough season with alot of players joining the team and took them a while to gel. All the kids have done fantastic this season ahd have learned a great deal.
We say goodbye to some of our players who are moving on and we wish them the best of luck on their continued football journeys with new lads coming in to join us.
We also say farewell to our coach, luke who has been with us 4 yrs.
its a thankless task coaching kids football and luke has given his all to this team. We are thankfull for his time and passion. He gave it his all and passed his wealth of modern footballing experience not just to the players he coached but to me too.
So from me personally its a huge thankyou to luke, a lovely bloke who cared deeply. I wish him all the best for his continuing coaching journey away from the star.
