Kyle came to us after seeing us on Instagram and being recommended to us by a friend

Kyle, like most people, had tried other plans

He had tried going down the path of overly low-calorie diets and found that they just werenโ€™t sustainable for him, which can often be the case

โ€œI have been very apprehensive to post these, anyone who knows me knows how I really feel about my body image.
However on Saturday I completed an 8 week plan with and they 100% deserve a shout out ๐ŸŽ‰

I lost 9lbs over the 8 weeks and as you can see from the pics my body started to change for the better! My mindset is a lot better and I feel better in myself.

I would 1000% recommend this plan to anyone struggling with losing weight or with a unhealthy relationship with food or if you just need a kick up the bum!

So, we are well into December and this month can go one of two ways,

1 - You are conscious of what you eat and keep up a degree of training and activity to maintain your weight over the festive period whilst enjoying all your Xmas nights out,

or

2 - You use the excuse "Ah it's Xmas" for the next 33 days and wonder why you can't fit into your work trousers come January,

It simply comes down to a choice and you can choose to go either way,

I will never tell my clients to deprive themself over December but they all have goals they want to hit,

They will have nights out with friends and catch ups with family members planned over the next month and they will enjoy it,

But they won't go overboard and they won't stop training,

and maybe you want to do the same,

Don't do what you do every year, tell yourself you'll go easy over December but by the 5th you're eating mince pies for breakfast and regret it all in the new year,

Here are our top 3 tips to keep things sensible over the Xmas period.

1 - On the days where you have no social occasions planned, treat it like a healthy day, track your calories and eat 'well' for the whole day,

2 - Set yourself a minimum amount of steps (even on the days you're off work) these get hit no matter what as basic activity plus it keeps you out of the celebrations tub,

3 - Continue to do your exercise, whether that's your gym workout or group class, still do it over the month, it keeps you active and also keeps the habit so it's easier to get back to it in January,

Well done

Paul recently finished our 8-week fat loss program -

Now as you can see, Paul didnโ€™t have much weight to lose

Knowing Paul, heโ€™d always kept himself fit, played football, jogged and played a bit of golf

I guess like a lot of us, the last year had meant some of those things had been taken away.

Instead of just accepting that he would be less active, that he had put on a little weight, Paul decided to do something about it

Fast forward 8 weeks and you can see how much he has changed

Heโ€™s leaner, fitter and healthier!

But he had to put the work in

Giving Paul the tools was one thing, but Paul himself had to go out for walks to go jogging, to do his workouts and to eat without his goals

All of those came with their challengers at times

Paulโ€™s results are a credit to how much effort he applied and a statement of his hrs work

Another one of the ladies from our last Fortified 8 program who have achieved remarkable results

Michelle joined pretty much last minute as her husband was doing the program so they thought she may as well

What I like about Michelle's results is that after speaking to her, how much healthier and positive she feels

Her photos are great, but how she feels about herself is even better after losing a stone

Clair started our 8 week program - Fortified 8 back in January and finished a couple of weeks ago

By the end of the program, she had lost 18lbs in 8 weeks!

โ€œIn the past Iโ€™d beat myself up and give in if I slipped up, now Iโ€™m proud of seeing it to the end and not giving up

Iโ€™d put off starting as I was presuming it would be too hard to do and Iโ€™d be starving and miserable - that wasnโ€™t the case at all!

Now, I feel so much more confident to taking control of my diet and exercise I understand that one slip dose not mean you have to trough the towel in.

For anyone considering it, just do it, itโ€™s more than a diet and exercise plan itโ€™s a life style change that learns you that with a bit of determination and guidance you can learn how to change your thinking about what the word diet means and that itโ€™s not about eating stuff you hate or restricting your self of the things you like!

Heather at the time was someone who exercised a lot but wanted to see her efforts reflected in her body

โ€œBefore I started Fortified 8 I struggled with portion sizes!

Iโ€™m now proud of my results when I look in the mirror, my confidence to just be me! Iโ€™m proud of the change in routine, food plan and realising that there is a much easier way of eating that is still satisfying.

I regret not eating properly before this programme. Iv missed out on so much food! Ha!

My life looks and feels positive now. My life is more active than before. And I've made some life changes which I will never go back to!

Donna is someone who had probably tried a lot of things in the past, different diets, different types of training and so on

Knowing how hard she worked on her training, it was no wonder that she was a little bit frustrated at the lack of change in her body

We've all been there at some point

โ€œI struggled with calorie counting! It sounds so easy, but learning about how much of a deficit you need to be in for weight loss is complex.

Leo has been plugging away over the last few months, working hard, chipping away at his body fat

We havenโ€™t done anything drastic, just kept things as simple and as flexible as possible and we are both looking forward to moving onto the next phase of his plan which is building some muscle ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
