After all the promises made over the past few years that we would obtain a fob entry system to the course a start has been made. The trench to accommodate the cable was dug this morning by Terry smith and excavator. All being well the system will be installed next week.
It is not intend to put the system in operation untill the start of the new season.
when members will be advised how the system will be put into operation

Well Thats it For Summer Comps The Scramble Was Well Attended With 36 Playing. And the weather was kind
Thanks to Steve and Dave for their help.
Must try to organise a mid Summer Scramble, if our Competition Commitee Steve and Dave are agreeable.
Quite a few of members staiyed behind for our Face to Face AGM
A number of points were raised including the FOB access Please be assured this will be installed in the very near future.
It is planned to be in operation for the New Season April 2023.
The issue of Fees was raised and it was agreed that fees would go up next April to £45, It's Still Cheap golf.
Points raised over The Ladies Toilets being in need of refurbishment. The commitee Agree and a sum of money will be alllocated in order carry out the work the Commitee will work closely with our Lady members. So please Ladies let us have your imput.
Also Junior coaching We Need Parents to get involved. So that the juniors are overseen during coaching sessions. A small Fee may be involved, However The club will ensure that the Pro is Paid . We hope to get the pro from Normanby. Lee Day
Who did a few previously.
Would interested Parents please make a point of letting the committee know if they would be willing to take this role on
Cannot Think of anything more at the moment.
Other than we are committed to supporting Ian our Groundsman in any way we can and we are at the moment actively looking to purchase a small utility truck in order to carry sand soil etc.

It is intended to run a few during the winter months. Watch this space.

Net 52 and a better back 9

Results of last of the season Stableford
In first place with a credible 38 points And a better last 3 holes
Was Des Norton Yes it was that close
In second place also with 38 was Leigh Churchill
and third place went to
Dave Shambrook with 37 again a better last 9 holes
A tight competition well done you 3
Our next and final competition will be par 3 Championship to be played Sept 17 / 18
This will be followed by our of season Scramble on Sunday the 25th Prize giving and refreshments
It iwas our intention to hold our annual AGM At the same time
This has now been moved
to the 14 th Wednesday evening at 7 pm

Well done it was a nice weekend foe golf. but I did not play twice it was Peter May who played with John Soulby
