Park Tigers Junior Football Club Established in 1975, Park Tigers is a proud and successful junior football club in North Lincolnshire.

We run teams from U7s to U16s, competing in the Jack Kalson leagues and developing players of all abilities.

With no substitutes available, the boys knew they would need to be switched on from the very first whistle โ€” and they responded brilliantly.

Tigers produced a really strong all-round performance and came away with a 2-0 win as preparations continue for the new season. ๐Ÿ‘

With only 13 players available, and one of those unable to start the game, it was always likely to be a tough test for our U16s.

Park Tigers started brightly, applying plenty of early pressure and creating a couple of good openings. As the half went on, Crowle grew into the game and it quickly developed into a hugely competitive contest.

It was the Tigers who struck first. Some excellent work from Jake saw him brought down inside the box, with Kody stepping up and confidently converting the penalty to give Park Tigers a 1-0 lead at the break. โšฝ

Crowle responded quickly after half-time, taking advantage of some hesitation in Tigers defence to level the game before continuing to apply pressure and eventually taking a 2-1 lead.

Tigers didnโ€™t let their heads drop though. Jake was once again causing problems and won Park Tigers a second penalty of the game. This time Harry P stepped up and calmly slotted home to make it 2-2. โšฝ

With very few options available from the bench, tired legs eventually began to show and Crowle found the fifth and final goal of the game to take a 3-2 victory.

A hugely competitive game and exactly the type of test both teams will have wanted with the new season getting closer.

Despite the result, our U16s continue to impress and there are plenty of positives to take into what is expected to be a very competitive league campaign.

Tigers played some superb football throughout, with excellent passing, movement and team play creating plenty of opportunities in front of goal.

At the other end, the boys were equally impressive. The defensive performance was faultless, with great communication and organisation throughout to limit Dale Parkโ€™s chances.

Tigers started brightly and were in control from the opening whistle, creating a number of good opportunities and playing some really nice football without quite finding the final touch.

The breakthrough finally came midway through the first half when Rhys found the net with a superb finish from just outside the box. More good work shortly afterwards saw Kody slot home to give Tigers a deserved 2-0 lead at half-time.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Park Tigers continuing on the front foot. On a very hot day and a difficult, hard pitch, Titans began to tire and Tigers took advantage.

Tom made it three with a well-taken header from a corner, before Rhys added his second of the game from the penalty spot to make it 4-0. Harry P then rounded off a very accomplished performance by adding Tigersโ€™ fifth.

A really positive first outing back for the U16s and plenty to build on as the new season approaches. ๐Ÿ‘
