⚽️ Throwback to 3 years ago today! ⚽️

Three years ago, our now U9s took part in their very first tournament... and it's fair to say they had absolutely no clue what they were doing, not a single goal scored! 😆

Fast forward to today, and the same 10 children who started with us as 5-year-olds are about to begin their 4th season together. What an incredible journey it's been.

Their commitment, teamwork, friendship and love of the game have helped shape this special group into the team they are today. Through wins, losses, muddy pitches and plenty of laughs, they've stuck together every step of the way.

A huge thank you to our fantastic coaches, James and Ricki, who have always put these children first. From ensuring equal game time for everyone, to giving players the opportunity to experience different positions, they've created an environment where learning, development and enjoyment come before anything else.

Most importantly, they've made football fun, and that's why these 10 kids are still here, still smiling, and still loving every minute.

Here's to Season 4 together! 💙⚽

⚽️💙 U10 Girls 💙⚽️

Today the girls played a friendly against a team they faced earlier in the year as they prepared to form and develop as a team. Back then, they suffered a 5-0 defeat, but instead of letting it knock them back, they continued to work hard, train every week, and believe in themselves.

Fast forward to today, and all that hard work paid off as they returned to face the same opposition and came away with a fantastic WIN! 🎉🙌

This was the girls' first taste of match victory since forming as a team, making it an extra special moment for everyone involved. Their determination, resilience, and commitment to improving have been incredible to watch, and today they got the reward they deserved.

To celebrate, the girls headed off for some fun at Elsham Hall Golf Centre to enjoy a round of football golf together. ⛳⚽

Today proves what can be achieved through hard work, determination, teamwork, and belief. The girls are growing in confidence every week and are now even more excited to begin their journey into league football.

⚽️ U9s had a fantastic day at the Epworth Tournament! ⚽️

Finishing 2nd in their group, only loosing 1 game, secured a place straight into the Cup Semi-Final, where they faced the leaders of Group B. After a hard-fought draw, it came down to the dreaded penalty shootout, and this time the boys held their nerve to book their place in the final! 🙌

The final saw them come up against the same team that had beaten them earlier in the day. Despite another outstanding performance, they narrowly missed out, losing 1-0.

The boys played some brilliant football throughout the tournament and showed incredible teamwork, determination, and character from start to finish. Reaching the Cup Final is a fantastic achievement and everyone should be incredibly proud.

⚽💙 Tournament Action for our U10s and U9s at the App-Frod Tournament this weekend. 💙⚽

🌟 U10s
The boys put together an excellent tournament run, making it all the way to the Cup Semi-Final. After a hard-fought match, they narrowly missed out on a place in the final, losing on penalties to the team that went on to win the tournament. A fantastic effort and plenty to be proud of!

⭐ U9s
The U9s started the day in great form, playing some excellent football during the morning matches. Unfortunately, a break for lunch seemed to disrupt their momentum, and they found it difficult to rediscover their earlier rhythm in the afternoon. While the later results didn't quite go their way, there were still plenty of positives to take from the day.

Football is all about learning, developing, and bouncing back, and our U9s will be ready to go again next weekend! 💪⚽

⚽💙 Tournament Day for Our Girls Teams at the Epworth Girls Tournament! 💙⚽

🌟 U12 Girls
The girls produced some fantastic performances to reach the semi final. After a closely fought match, they narrowly missed out on reaching the final, losing on sudden-death penalties, arguably the toughest way to lose a semi final. The whole team should be incredibly proud of their efforts and determination throughout the tournament.

⭐ U10 Girls
Our U10s continued their impressive development, finishing top of their group after beating some very strong teams. What made it even more special was that some of these sides had comfortably beaten them in friendlies earlier in the season when the girls were just starting their journey. They eventually lost in the semi-final to the team that went on to win the tournament, but the progress on display was clear for everyone to see.

Seeing the girls compete so well against teams that had previously beaten them by big margins was fantastic and a real testament to all their hard work, commitment, and attitude. Most importantly, the girls could see that progress themselves, and that made them very happy too! 💙👏

⚽What a day for our U8s at the Doncaster United Tournament! ⚽

The team were fantastic from start to finish, winning their league to progress to the semi-finals, where another excellent performance secured their place in the final.

The final was a closely contested game, and with just a minute remaining, they conceded a late goal. It wasn't the result they deserved, and unfortunately it didn't go their way this time.

Despite the heartbreak, the players showed determination and resilience throughout the day. Reaching the final and finishing as runners-up is a huge achievement, and everyone should be incredibly proud of themselves.

⚽ What a fantastic morning for our U7s!

The team were outstanding throughout the Epworth invitational tournament, winning all of their games and topping their league table to secure a place in the final. They showed great teamwork, determination, and effort every step of the way.

Unfortunately, today wasn't quite their day in the final, with a narrow 2-1 defeat. But reaching the final and performing so brilliantly all tournament is an incredible achievement.

Well done, U7s! You should all be extremely proud of yourselves. Your hard work, attitude, and team spirit were there for everyone to see. 👏⚽💙
