⚽️ 5–5 THRILLER in the NFYL North East ! 👀

Denny Ingrams’ SFS Whites 🆚 Bridlington Town SFS Reds and what a game.

🔥 opened the scoring after just 1 minute and grabbed the Whites equaliser in the FINAL minute
🎯 with two cracking goals (plus an own goal for good measure 😅)
🔴 For the Reds: ._johari & linked up brilliantly, with Quashie bagging a hat-trick to turn 2–0 down into a 5–4 lead with 5 to play
🏆. Liam Tibett MOTM performance
🚨 Huge saves from both keepers kept the scoreline only slightly less crazy

Great game. Crazy defending. Proper end-to-end stuff. Love football like this ❤️⚽️

Results!

Bridlington Town AOC traveled to and more than played their part in a competitive fixture! Both teams had chances but the difference was the in both boxes. MOTM was for playing a range of positions during the game and always give it his all. We come away with our heads held high⚽️

Bridlington Town Women gave a battling performance! Injures led to us finishing the game with 10 players. The back line stood strong for the majority of the game but as we tired the game got away from us👊 .ashh was named POTM for a solid display at the heart of defence🏆

Bridlington Town Whites hosted Gateshead in a physical game of football the visitors game out on top. We gave everything till the very last whistle but ultimately was beaten by the better team on the day! MOTM was .b7 for a commanding display at centre back🤝

Bridlington Town Whites dominated on the road. Walking away with all 3️⃣ points! .blanch08_ helped himself to a hat trick💪 causing the opposition problems all game. got himself a well deserved goal ⚽️. Harrison and a OG finished off the scoring!

Match report⚽️

The boys worked hard for the full 90 minutes against tough opposition. Hall Cross scored just before the half hour mark. Which was quickly followed by a second. Just after 30 minutes played went down with a serious injury. With all the chopping and changing hall cross scored a third going into half time 3-0 up.

The second half saw more of the same defensive hard work but couldn’t keep the opposition out and Hall cross scored another 2 in quick succession with the game finishing 5-0 ⚽️ Massive credit to the boys for battling to the very end in difficult circumstances.

MOTM was shared between .morland and for great work rate and always trying to get the team playing at every opportunity⚽️

SFS Bridlington Town College traveled to Pontefract with only 11 players available due to injury. The boys were punished for several mistakes defensively and the game got away from us. An outstanding effort on the road from us and one we can be proud of! A scoreline that didn’t reflect the game. MOTM was .lewismo08 for some tricky wing play and getting himself a well deserved goal🏆
