Would they like to become part of a team and make new friends along the way?
Would they like to give rugby league a go?

We’re happy to announce we will be running our first training session for children in years 5 & 6!

At the minute the session will be just for the aforementioned years but we’re hoping to start training for different ages in the near future.

The session will be free of charge and will be run from our home of Cayton Playing Fields.

We’re extremely excited to announce this and can’t wait to see lots of kids down enjoying rugby league!

On Friday night we hosted our annual presentation night.
We played 5 games this ‘season’ winning 2 and losing 3,but still we completed another season.
With that being said our award winners for the season this year were

Most Improved - Marcus Paddock
Marcus was awarded most improved this season.
Last year he struggled for form and sometimes his attitude let him down,but this season Marcus had one of his best in a open age shirt,finishing 4th in the try scoring charts and making the centre position his own.

Top try scorer - George Reeves
‘Chow’ pipped the try scoring charts this season,quite an achievement playing a relatively new postion.

Players Player of the year - George Reeves
Chow picked up his second award of the night and an award throughly deserved. Putting 100% effort into every game we played,excelled at the 7s tournament we played in. Often finding moments of magic from nothing to get the side of the front foot,again all whilst playing his new found position of fullback.

Clubman of the year - Taylor and Kelly.
Our clubman of the year this season was awarded to our lovely ladies Taylor and Kelly who between the two of them keep the club going behind the scenes from organising fundraising fun days to ensuring the lads have everything they need on and off the field our ladies did it all so they were rightfully recognised and awarded our ‘clubman of the year award’.

We also recognised the hard work our coaching team have put in this season,sacrificing their own playing time and family time to come and coach the lads,so a massive thank you to Chris and Keith for this season.

A big thank you also to Rob and Kim and everyone at Cayton Playing Fields Association for having us again this year,your support is greatly appreciated.
