Saxon of the Month - May

Congratulations Manon Kinchin who is May’s Saxon of the Month. It was very tricky to choose just one person this month but Manon has shown patience, resilience and determination to come back from a nasty injury late last year. She sensibly eased back into running slowly and in May managed to get close to her Parkrun PB and absolutely smashed her 10k PB by over 3 mins.
Well done Manon 👏 well deserved!
Like I said Saxons are smashing it at the moment with certificates, PBs and club records flying about all over the place. I could have easily shortlisted 15 for this. But our top 4 was:

Saxon of the Month - April

Congratulations Gus Young who is Saxon of the Month for April!
Gus joined Saxons after completing the beginners course last year and since then has gone from strength to strength! She has consistently shaved time off her Parkrun PB and in April managed to get her goal of sub 30 minutes!! As well as this, Gus has progressed on to racing in 10ks too.
A well deserved recipient! Well done Gus 👏

Just 1 week to go!!
Reminder our beginners course starts next Tuesday! Many of our graduates from the last few years have gone on to do great things that they never thought possible… you could be next!
All you need is some suitable clothes and shoes for running, a drink, your registration form that you can request using the email on our poster or sending a direct Facebook message to us, £20 cash and a willingness to improve your fitness 😃
