Another fab weekend spent with some of our stars at the Hemel Hempstead DFR comp. This is a popular event, and therefore SO MANY competitors, with groups of over 60 dancers. Our stars danced hard, and cheered for each other harder. Well done girls - proud of you all.

As we get ready for our next DFR competition tomorrow, I’ve realised I haven’t shared the pictures from our last regional event in Sudbury!
It was a busy day, with hundreds of dancers taking the floor, and as always our stars did us proud both while dancing and while spectating others.

We attended our first DFR National Qualifier competition yesterday - and had the best time! Lots of smiles, sparkles and supportive friends and parents to cheer us on throughout the day.

For ten competitors it was their first competition - a huge congratulations to our newest team members who took the floor for the first time. What a brave and brilliant thing to do!!

You were all incredible, and I am so proud of all of you for taking your own journey into this competition season… I can’t wait to see where it takes you!

💕 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL OUR STARS. 💕This week our stars celebrated their love for dance by writing a note on a heart. Our Little Stars included notes of Skipping and drawing a picture of how dance makes them feel. From Shooting Stars to Supreme Stars there was a common theme of being able to express themselves, preparing and performing in shows or competitions. But the most popular answer was FRIENDSHIPS. And if that’s not a true love language; I don’t know what is.💕

WOW!!!!!! What a wonderful day with four of our team members at the Grand Finals Day for DFR. Lots of quarter finals, semi finals, and a finalist!!! So so proud of CW, LB, EB and KF for representing us at this prestigious event with the energy and determination that they did. They danced beautifully, and soaked up the atmosphere of the day - even 12 hours in to the comp day they were smiling and raring to go. Well done girls - I hope you’re not TOO tired today!!###

Our small but mighty comp team had a great year, bringing home medals and trophies - and our team, as well as all at SAS, send a HUGE WELL DONE to CW, CB, EB and KF who also qualified to compete at Nationals this weekend in their Set Dance🤩 we are all routing for you!!!🍀🍀🍀🍀
