🎲 What a brilliant turnout for our Family Sunday at Sawtry Games Club!
Yesterday was packed with games, giggles, and plenty of “just one more round” moments. A few of the highlights included:

🐠Finding Dory & Catch the Moon — top‑tier balancing skills on display

Another lively week at 𝗦𝗮𝘄𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 — and it was great seeing some of the folks we met at the carnival drop by.

This week’s highlights:
• 8‑player 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀— plenty of bluffing, scheming, and racing to complete those 7 districts first.
• A lightning‑fast𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, learning the turn structure and getting a feel for how the battlefield flows.

And we’re not slowing down.

We had a brilliant turnout again this week — and the tables were buzzing.

🚴 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗲 had us squeezing into our imaginary lycra as we sprinted through a few tense stages, while 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 brought out everyone’s inner artist with some seriously impressive stained‑glass masterpieces.

🏈 Over on the 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 pitch, the hits kept coming, and our 𝗥𝗣𝗚 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄 pushed deeper into their adventure on the road to the Elf Capital, Qualinesti.

🏈 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 brought the crunches, clashes, and classic league drama — with friendlies just as fierce.
♟️ Our resident “grand masters” took to the chess board for some sharp tactical battles.
🃏 The board‑gamers travelled from medieval Spain in 𝗘𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 to the chaotic fun of 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼, proving once again that simple games can be surprisingly tricky.

The Peterborough Blood Bowl league is entering its final stretch, and tensions are high as the last few matches decide the final table. Come cheer on the carnage.

Just the two tables this week at the club, but it was still good fun. The dramatic thunder and lightening adding to the atmosphere for the RPG table at the crucial moment.

The board game table saw the return of El Grande, an area control game set in historic Spain. They also played Castle Combo, a quick paced card game trying to match card combinations.

We are also finalising our plans for the Sawtry Carnival and hope you can make it over to our stand
