Congratulations to Ollie who has qualified for the U18 English Youth Bowls Development Scheme National Finals to be held at Melton Mowbrey.

To qualify Ollie came runner up in the Essex region (Ollie plays indoor bowls at Turpins, Saffron Walden).

Well done Ollie, winning the Men's Singles Trophy against Roger Mansfield.

Ollie then went on to win the Youth Shield against Oscar Cuffley.

The Ladies Singles was won by Julie Mansfield against Terri Peat.

The Handicap Singles Cup was presented to Debbie Orriss, the runner-up cup has been awarded to Ginnie Beeken.

Thank you to the markers, greenkeeping crew and our resident barman.

Will Ollie become the youngest to win the Men's Singles Trophy? The record is currently held by Steve Jacobs, who won the title in 1979 aged 17.
