Starting the year with good intentions...73 printer ink cartridges, weighing 1.9kg off to be recycled with raising funds for Saundersfoot Rotary Club

Just a reminder that we currently collect the following, raising money for charity:

♻️ Pringle tubes (with metal bottoms)
♻️ Bread & Bakery - plastic packaging
♻️ Coffee & tea - foil and plastic packaging
♻️ Cheese - plastic packaging
♻️ Baby Bel - wax rind and plastic packaging (Inc net)
♻️ Used postage stamps

Drop off at Ecoast, High Street Saundersfoot

Unfortunately the local collection point Elements of Pembrokeshire will not be taking any recycling until further notice.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE!
( THIS IS THE CHARITIES ANNOUNCEMENT NOT THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES)
Please Read and Share.
In the light of the latest Announcement of the Coronavirus,
precautionary measures need to be put in place.
ALL RECYCLING COLLECTION POINTS WILL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF any of your waste at any Locations. If you have a drop off point or collect for us, we ask please that you remove the bins for now until further notice.
We advise that all recyclable waste programmes that we usually collect is
Now placed in your non-recyclable waste which is your Grey bag waste for the Local Authority!
We can confirm this is Incinerated to generate Electricity and with the present Situation, this is very important to reduce infection control!
We have a Duty of Care to our Volunteers.

Anyone got a teapot they could donate?
Please pop it in to Elements in Saundersfoot and they will take over to Haverfordwest. Thank you

Has anyone got an excess of teapots?!

We are starting a 'VC Tastes of Tea Club'! And we need some teapots, if you have any you no longer need or want, and they are in good clean condition, please could you bring them in to us.

Got any crayons you're not using anymore? 🖍🖍🖍

We have teamed up with the The Crayon Bug who have an Ocean Guardians gold award, they can recycle ♻️ your old crayons into beautiful new sea life crayons. 🦀🐠🐬

You will be able to find them on their new website (www.thecrayonbug.com) and 25% of the profit will be donated to Sea Trust! 🙌👏❤️

You can bring your crayons any day of the week from 10am - 4pm along with your teracycling and Milk Bottle Tops.

In case you're wondering, yes we will take the outer plastic packet from selection boxes (but not the tray inside).

You can help us by pre-sorting, and putting all your chocolate wrappers in one too 😁
