To celebrate the opening of our entries this morning, we are delighted to launch another incredible opportunity in partnership with our title sponsors, Henry James Saddlery for both competitors and volunteers. 2 Tetworth competitors, or members of the Tetworth Volunteer Team for our October fixture will be lucky enough to walk away with an incredible Henry James sponsorship package of tack and accessories, each worth £500.

And so the countdown begins… ⏰🥳

Entries open for our October fixture tomorrow morning (Monday 14th Sept)! We are running classes at all levels from BE80 to Intermediate-Novice (IN) and cannot wait to welcome everyone back to the estate in a few weeks time.

A number of big plans to be revealed in the weeks to come, kicking off tomorrow with an exciting announcement from us and our title sponsors Henry James Saddlery so do keep your eyes on our socials 😉

Please make sure to get your entries in early before our ballot date on 1st October. There will be no better way to end the 2026 event season than here at Tetworth.

Whilst at last week, Jo had a chat with David Pennell - CEO of Burghley, and huge supporter of Tetworth.

David spoke about the importance of nurturing national events like ours which are so vital for the development of horses and riders progressing towards the very top of the sport.

We are most grateful to David for the time he gave at our Spring fixture, and pleased to hear that he very much enjoyed his experience as part of the Tetworth Volunteer Team 🤗

Team Tetworth at Burghley ☀️

We spent a wonderful few days at Defender Burghley Horse Trials last week. It was fabulous to catch up with so many of our sponsors, friends and supporters, with lots of exciting plans coming into shape for our October event. Keep an eye out on our socials for plenty more insights and interviews over the coming weeks!

A huge congratulations to Gemma Stevens Equestrian and Chilli Knight for their flawless performance to take the win! It was a joy to watch so many competitors that we have had the pleasure of hosting at Tetworth, we look forward to seeing you all back very soon on 24-25 October 😍

We paid a visit to on the Dawson of Stamford stand at Burghley. We were so lucky to receive generous sponsorship from Dawson for our Spring event, including the stunning bangles awarded to BE90 winners and . Hear from Kelly about their involvement in Tetworth, and some plans for our next event!

If you are at Burghley today or tomorrow, the Dawson Stand - next to the defender stand in block E - is not one to be missed, not only with so much beautiful jewellery to be awarded, but also the incredible Burghley trophies on display, go and have a look! 💎🤩

We are delighted to announce that The Henry James Saddlery Tetworth Horse Trials (2) is one of the ten events selected to host the Yeti Bun Run as part of British Eventing’s new partnership with global outdoor brand, Yeti 🤝

The Bun Run is a much-loved part of eventing life, delivering refreshments, morale boosts and plenty of smiles to our incredible fence judges and volunteers. Run by volunteers, for volunteers, it captures the community spirit that makes our event possible.

Huge thanks to YETI for helping take this initiative to the next level by providing us with a BE-branded YETI Tundra® 65 cooler which will keep Bun Run refreshments course-ready, and in addition, a prize package full of Yeti goodies which will be won by one lucky volunteer at the event 🥳. More details on this in due course.

We can’t wait to welcome our volunteer team back to Tetworth in October. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you 😊

Di was unable to make the prize giving, but we made sure she received her beautiful bangle very generously gifted by section sponsors, Dawson of Stamford, another of which was awarded to for taking the win in section W.
