The greens have been verti-cut again this week using our new (second hand) mower that we recently purchased. As you can see from photos we removed a large amount of thatch as well as standing up the grass sward to improve quality of cut. ⛳⛳⛳

The 12th bunkers have now been in play for nearly two weeks with positive feedback.
Tom Mackenzie and his team are very Happy with how they have turned out. Thanks to all involved.

We are trying out a different grade of sand in the bunkers that is slightly more gritty this should hold in the bunkers in windy conditions and be more free draining. ⛳⛳⛳

Yesterday was a busy day on the course amongst the bad weather. Scarifying greens/approaches, tining greens, fairways and tees, We had Andy butlers team in George and Tom with pedestrian machines to minimise damage to playing surfaces. ⛳⛳⛳🌧️🌧️🌧️

Tree planting on the course this week amongst the rain.

Birch (Betula pendular) planted between the 6th -7th to act as a screen to protect golfers playing up the 7th.

Austrian pine (Pinus Nigra Austriaca) on the 12th.

A mixture of hedging and birch planted round the irrigation tank kindly planted by volunteers.
