The Long Eaton Lightning Ball Hockey Club was established in 2016 and is still expanding. We accept all abilities and are a coed team, the only restriction we currently have is you need to be of 18 years of age to play. Final round of the Summer Cup and we will have just three teams competing. Its still all to play for, with the final game of the tournament set up for a great finish with Nottingham Hawks BHC and Greasley Bears Ball Hockey Club set to go head to head in a winner takes all.

Following the conclusion of the cup, there will be an open scrimmage until 10pm open to the players to mix up the sides.

Results from Week 3 of the summer cup sets up a fantastic final week with three teams still in with a chance of winning the cup.

Greasley Bears Ball Hockey Club hold onto top spot with 17pts, one ahead of Nottingham Hawks BHC, with Sheffield Steeldogs just two points further back.

With all teams having three games remaining, it sets up for a exciting conclusion to this years competition.

Congratulations to our very own Jay Binch on being named in the GB Legends squad ahead of the ISBHF Legends World Championships 2026.

We’d also like to congratulate Rob Page, who played for the Bolts this year as part of our BHUK Tier 3 Nationals squad and George Brykajlo who joined us for the F4’s weekend in Gateshead raider this year!

There will be three training sessions scheduled in June/July, so if you’re aged 34+ get along to one of the sessions.”
