T’was a hot one yesterday 🔥 Sunday saw the Area 7 championships hosted here at Sandhurst. We entered all 4 men’s weights and with the help of some juniors from we entered two women’s weights, 560 & 540. The teams fought hard all day with some great pulling, and definitely put up a fight for our first comp since nationals 💪

Thank you to all the teams for coming down, the spectators and helpers which helped the day run smoothly. Training continues Tuesday night at 7:30pm!

As we approach the National Championships in just a few days time down in Capel, Kent we are reflecting back on the season we have had so far.
It's been great to see a return of several of our pullers from injury and the recruitment of some new faces in both the mens, ladies and youth squads. We are always open to more people taking up the sport so if you are keen just reach out.
We have travelled all around the country again and thank everyone club that has hosted and attended to compete.
We also thank .co.uk for their continued support and sponsorship of the team. We share values such as hardwork, dedication and community and are so happy to have you onboard for this 2025 season.

All the training, hardworking and preparation in terms of fitness, endurance and hitting our weights has been completed and in a little over 48hours it will be time to once again compete at the NATIONAL OUTDOOR TUG OF WAR CHAMPIONSHIPS.

We are hosting our competition at Memorial Ground, Sandhurst, Berkshire, GU47 9BJ on Sunday 1st June.
Weigh In - 10am - First Pull - 11am
Weights -Men- 580, 600, 640, 680, catchweight
Ladies & Youth - 500, 520, 540 and 560.
Mixed - 580

On the day we will have our usual EPIC BBQ, Hot and Cold drinks, cakes and the Raffle. Great day out for the whole family.

In this lovely weather head outside and train with us Tuesday and Thursday evenings. No charge for new joiners for the 1st 2 months either so good for the soul, body and bank balance.
