Our professional, super-friendly instructors and coaches are all endorsed by one or more governing body and provide a wide range of sessions. You can try anything from a fun intro to an awesome new sport, to a skills clinic aimed at perfecting technique. We teach anyone from 8 years old Windsurfing, Dinghy Sailing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking and Canoeing. Come down and see us for a chat or call the Centre to find out which sport would suit you best. Ask about our "casual hire kit" if you just want to get out on the water with your friends or family. Our closing times vary - if you aren't taking part in a session with us, please use the public car park near the main entrance to avoid having your car locked in for the night!

This course is designed for those 16+

So, a summary of what's included: -
* RYA powerboat instructor
* Bespoke made training Whaly Boat 435, as well as all fuel used
* Buoyancy Aids
* Undercover learning area with hot drinks
* RYA "Start Power-boating" book with completion certificate

Previous Experience Required: None

Launching and recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside, man overboard.

After the course you will be a self-sufficient power boater in the right conditions, aware of own limitations and those of the craft.

Our adult Start Paddleboarding and Kayaking Course is taking place Saturday, 12th September and there are still a few places available to join us on the water!

The Paddle UK Start Course is catered to paddlers who are looking at beginning their paddling journey through Paddleboarding or Kayaking. We will be covering personal skills and rescue skills on the water and preparation for a paddle on the land!

This course is catered for ages 16+
