The 1s know that a win will guarantee their survival in the division, travelling away to already promoted Waltham St Lawrence 😬

The 2s will have a more relaxing afternoon having been promoted as champions last weekend, however will be looking to finish on a high at home to promotion hopefuls Maidenhead & Bray CC 🙌

The 1s fell agonisingly short once again, with an 8 wicket partnership worth 100+ runs getting us down to 17 needed off the final over. 😩

The 2nd Xl are now within touching distance of promotion as well as the league title after a concession earlier in the week. 🏆

Both league sides unfortunately fell to defeat, bringing an end to the Saturday Doubles. The 1s couldn’t chase down 197, despite a lower order resistance. The 2nd Xl fell short away to Cove, the opposition chasing it down with 3 wickets in hand.

The Sunday Xl made up for it however, scoring 294 from their 34 overs, including a maiden Camels Century for Frankie Desborough 🤩

A fourth successive Saturday double 🥃 🤩

Both sides enjoyed big wins this weekend, the 1s winning by 139 runs after setting a total of 303, and the 2s winning by 9 wickets after bowling the opposition out for 73 😮 🙌

Despite the best efforts of the opposition player that the sunday side borrowed, we couldn’t make it three from three this weekend 😞
