Week 5 of our fortnightly group ~ Dunoon Board Games(2026) meet.

Game played...

Terraforming Mars

Initially appearing quite a complex game with various different avenues to gain points, we soon got into the swing of it. Some excellent coaching by Grant saw the games conclusion with a wee win for Delta which was a great surprise considering Kasi appeared to have so many more pieces in play 🙌🙌

Next meeting Thursday 19th March from 6pm - 9pm so come along when you can and we'll get you set up with a game or if you have a game you'd like to bring & teach the group even better.

Week 4 of our fortnightly group ~ Dunoon Board Games(2026) Game played...

Carcassonne

Another old favourite...simple rules and quick to get going. This is a good one for best of rounds. A best of 3 tonight was thwarted by our Mark doing a double win whammy with scores of 47 - 41 and 100 - 72 to secure the win and a sharp finish. Good games 👏👏👏

Getting to grips with the rules again and coaching new players can take a wee bit of time but we were soon into the bones of it. Jayne was super inquisitive on all the rules which paid off on points with the end game bonuses to romp ahead and secure the win
