In 2016 I was pushed into going shooting by a friends husband - I honestly didn’t think it would be for me. And I loved it!

In March 2019 I put my big girl pants on and went along to The Ladies Clay Shooting League at Catton Hall. I was terrified I’d be out of my depth, and couldn’t believe when I came 4th out of 41 ladies and came 2nd in my category! At the end of 2019 I had come 1st or 2nd in my category in 5 out of 6 shoots. And I even managed to come 3rd overall at the end of year placings.

So proud of myself as I have been 1st or 2nd in A class in every shoot in 2021. And the cherry on the cake was finishing the league in overall first place after getting the High Gun at LCSL - Catton Hall Shooting Ground yesterday.

Becky McKenzie Clay Shooting Coach has been amazing in building my confidence and consistency. Any my new shooting squad “The Tourette’s Ladies” have been so much fun to shoot with and helped me getting over my nerves and overthinking!

Thanks to Mandy Berrisfordand Miles Machin and Manchester Clay Shooting Club and On The Peg Clothing for my fab prizes. Can’t wait for next year! X
