We are still open for cross country schooling, the flagged courses from last Sunday's one day event can stay out so long as we have bookings but as soon as the diary goes quiet we will pull them in for the winter.

We are open this coming weekend but afterwards we will be closed every Sunday until we close for the winter to enjoy our own hobbies.

Well the rain has come, 27mm yesterday, another 11mm today. The XC field is greening up rapidly!

With the forecast now firmly of the wet variety, I’m satisfied that the ground will be great for the Macclesfield and District Riding Club 1-DE on the 6th, however talking to people the reality is that some horses may not be as fit as they could be after the enforced hot summer lay off. As a precaution we look to shortening our usual cross country courses and reducing jump numbers for this event to ensure that we try and maintain a “level playing field” for all competitors.

Thanks very much Terri Danisevich and Tyler Cassells for organising another successful Lucinda Green masterclass.
The ground is fit for riding and we look forward to our next competition on Sunday 6th September organised kindly by Macclesfield and District Riding Club. In the meantime you can come and school on our course for just £26 per horse.
