Good Evening Golfers,
Unfortunately the course was closed today due to the unsafe conditions caused by the weather, some trees have been blown down due to the wind but the course will be fully open by tomorrow and the course will be safe and enjoyable to play on again.

Due to the heavy winds, we’ve had to close the golf course and clubhouse for now while our team checks everything over and carries out any necessary repairs.

We have some trees down on the course🌳
And a driving range that’s seen better days!

The safety of our members, visitors, and staff always comes first. Thank you so much for your understanding—we’ll keep you updated and hope to welcome you back very soon ⛳️😊

On behalf of the Golf Club and Bar918, we wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to our Captain, Anthony, and his family at this difficult time.

We were deeply honoured to host the wake and to provide a setting in which family, friends, and members could gather to pay their respects and commemorate a life held in such high regard. It was a privilege to support the family and the club community on an occasion of such significance.

Please be assured of our sincere sympathy and continued support. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this time of mourning.

❄️ A Winter Reminder from the Course ❄️

We agree — the snow-covered course looks beautiful, and there’s certainly a touch of winter magic out there right now. However, we kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation during this time.
Please note that and sort of sledging on the course is not permitted. We understand that this may disappoint people- but we need to protect the hard work that has recently been undertaken.

The course is closed to protect it from any damage. Winter activity can cause serious damage that may not be immediately visible but can impact playing conditions long-term.

For everyone’s awareness, a course marshal is currently on duty and monitoring entry.
This is private property, and we respectfully ask that there be no trespassing at this time.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us protect the course so it can be enjoyed by all in the seasons ahead. We truly appreciate your cooperation.
