🌟 SOAR WEEKENDER 🌟
I am bursting with pride thinking about this weekends comp. Firstly minus some questionable prosoners and woody the level was unreal. Soar is home to alot of high level attendees so the fact we came gome with 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st places is great!! but It was an incredible experience that went far beyond the pursuit of a trophy. The support and camaraderie displayed by every dancer and parent involved were truly unreal, and I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of such an amazing team.
Competitions often emphasize the competitive aspect, with the focus solely on winning. However, what truly matters is the journey we on together, the growth we witnessed, and the memories we created. It's about the dedication, passion, and hard work that each and every one of us put into our performances.
Throughout the competition, I witnessed dancers pushing their limits, stepping out of their comfort zones, and showcasing their incredible talent THIS MEANS THE MOST!! The determination and commitment displayed by everyone were awe-inspiring. We supported each other through the emotions, intensity, nerves, encouragement and late nights and early mornings!!
But it wasn't just the dancers who deserve recognition. The unwavering support from our parents was truly remarkable. From early morning rehearsals to late-night waiting for results throw in some snow but they were there every step of the way, cheering us on and providing the love and encouragement we needed. Their dedication and belief in us were invaluable.
While the judges' feedback and the final results are important, let's not forget that dance is about so much more. It's about the joy of movement, the expression of emotions, and the connections we make with each other and the audience our showcase on saturday demonstrated this perfectly!!! I could not be prouder of this piece put together in 7 short weeks one hour a week!!! it was brave and vulnerable and outstanding work! i enjoyed every single second of this piece!
Please look back and be proud Moxie, company Georgia, warrioress showcase, prestige, Gfunk, khaos, hooliganz, phantom, ms funk, huntress, project g, and Venture!! special shout out goes to my Gfunk dancers i am so incredibly proud of you what you guys achieved is outstanding. Getting the Big £1000 cheque and placing 1st in megacrew is a BIG DEAL!!!!!!! we worked very hard over the past few weeks so many rub throughs! but we did it we achieved the Megacrew win and the big cheque and the props that we have just become the winners of the category eveyone looks forward too everyone watches!! i also have to shout out the support that the bots have given to all other dancers thus weekend Alistair, Dan and Steve were only competing in gfunk but were there for Every single other category, showcase, abd category! This to me this team work this support is even more precious than the win!!!!
So, as we celebrate our achievements, let's remember that the true victory lies in the bonds we've formed, the lessons we've learned, and the personal growth we've achieved. It's about the smiles, laughter, and shared moments that will forever be etched in our hearts.
To each and every dancer, parent, and supporter, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering support have made this journey unforgettable. Together, we have proven that dance is not just about the trophy but about the incredible journey we embark on as a team.
