Give your child the opportunity to learn, improve and gain confidence in the water this summer with our Summer Holiday Intensive Swimming Programme.

Our intensive lessons provide focused teaching in small groups, allowing swimmers to make fantastic progress in just four days.

🌊 Open to everyone – you do not need to be enrolled in our weekly programme to take part.

🦈🌊 Sharkies Swim School is proud to be supporting Drowning Prevention Week! 🌊🦈

This week, swimmers from all stages across Sharkies Swim School have been taking part in fun and engaging water safety activities, learning skills that could one day save a life.

Our swimmers have been:
👕 Swimming in clothes and discovering how different it feels in the water.
💦 Learning what to do if they unexpectedly fall into water.
🚩 Learning what beach flags mean and how to spot safe places to swim.
🛟 Understanding how to help someone in difficulty safely without putting themselves at risk.
📞 Learning when and how to call for help in an emergency.
🌊 Exploring the Water Safety Code and how to stay safe around water this summer.

Water safety is about so much more than learning to swim — it’s about confidence, awareness, and making safe choices around water in real-life situations.

We’re incredibly proud of all our swimmers for taking part with enthusiasm and focus!

Please note that the school will not re-open to all students as planned tomorrow (Tuesday 6 January 2026) taking into account the current weather forecast and condition of local roads, paths and the car park on the school site. This decision has been taken with the safety of everyone in mind.
