-Manage a caseload, assess the people who use the service and manage their recovery/care plans.
-Developing and applying a range of therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs, whether that’s employment, education, health etc.
-See that everything is coordinated from the moment they’re referred to the time that they move home.
-Support individuals accessing the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery.
-Support the day to day running of the therapeutic community, ensuring service user needs are met and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery.
-Previous experience is desirable, however not essential.

🌟Volunteer Spotlight: Gordon🌟

Gordon has been volunteering with CLASP - Community Led Action Support Project in an administration and social media role. Through this opportunity, he has been building the confidence, skills, and experience that will support him in future employment.

In addition to his role, Gordon has been assisting with some of the digital skills groups offered at CLASP and has been thoroughly enjoying his time with the organisation. 🤩Volunteer Opportunities🤩

Yesterday, our Employability Placement Worker, Hannah, visited The Community Shop in Ardrossan to meet with Craig and discuss potential volunteer work placement opportunities for our participants.

With a range of opportunities available through North Ayrshire Foodbank, there are some fantastic volunteering roles within the shop, as well as a need for volunteer delivery drivers. It was great for Hannah to learn more about how these opportunities could help participants develop valuable skills and experience that can support future employment and career goals.

During her visit, Hannah also met with Veronika, Richard and Diane from Irvine Share & Repair, who operate from The Community Shop every Wednesday. As a small but dedicated team, they are looking to welcome new volunteers to help continue their important work within the community. From clothing and electrical items to toys and household goods, the team works hard to repair items wherever possible, helping to reduce waste and prevent items from being thrown away.

Last night the Positive Pathways team attended The Ayrshire Community Trust Volunteer Awards. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the incredible contributions of local volunteers and recognising the difference they make in our communities.

It was great to see some of our clients in attendance celebrating their own volunteering journeys and achievements.

A huge thank you to every volunteer for the time, energy and commitment you give. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we’re proud to celebrate alongside you.
