Evening All

Ive decided to concentrate on my own training and goals for a while so have knocked the 1-1 sessions on the head.

Ive informed everyone i have been training and apologies to all those who have sent messages asking about training. I wasnt ignoring you, I was just deciding what route I was going to take

Louis continues to impress me with his dedication to training and this afternoons power session was another step in the right direction, with a decent PB in box squats 👏

He's starting to turn a few heads in the gym with his squat ability, which is no small feat for a 16 year old lad who stands at 6'5'' !!!!! 🤯

We started really slow with Louis but ove the last 10 monthd he's built a strong, robust foundation that will stand him in good stead for his future goals

Good morning to you All !!!

Now that my tenure as the Saltash Colts Head Coach has come to an end I have a little more time on my hands, so have availability for 1 or 2 weekly or Bi weekly training slots

Sessions can be held at my home gym or at Dark Performance

50 min session - Home gym
U18s - £15
Adults - £20

50 min session - Dark Performance
U18s - £18
Adults - £25

I'm more than happy to help out with diets for those who use my services but my passion is training people, from experienced gym go'ers to first timers 💪, so for monthly coaching there are much better options available to you, and I'd happily direct you to someone who could help 🙂

Just finishing off a custom plan for a client with a home gym, to improve power 💥and mobility🧎 over a 12 week period.

Ive personally started with a new coach to help develop my knowledge, whilst giving me the accountability I need to focus in on my 3 month goals 🎯

📍 My challenage for you this week, if you want to lose body fat, is to work out the calories on just 3 meals, and see how they fair against what you should be eating for the day .

How many 15/16 years do you who can plonk 120kg on their back and box squat for reps !!!? Come to think of it, not many adults can either 🤔

We've spent the last 4 months slowing developing his strength through different ranges and plains of motion, whilst increasing mobility, to ensure that he's able to maintain strict form as we increase the load

We're working on the top phase of squat here, getting the hips and glutes firing to bring the body back into position. Next week we will focus on the bottom phase, developing the explosive power require to drive big weight out of the hole 🚀

Tip - The key to really progressing is to be diligent with your training 🤓 We record all Jay's numbers to ensure we get progressive overload, through various forms, on the majority of his sessions.

It really doesn't matter what your chosen sport is, or even if you're a recreational trainer, the key to development is a strong and stable foundation 🧱, coupled with good mobility 🦼

That unfortunately isn't gained by rocking up at a gym, locking yourself into a machine, and repping out aimlessly

Louis has been with me for around 3 months and his development in all areas has been excellent 💪🙌

Video is one of Louis' warm up Squat sets, after we had opened him up with some mobility work, and got him firing🔥 with Plymometrics
