How many 15/16 years do you who can plonk 120kg on their back and box squat for reps !!!? Come to think of it, not many adults can either 🤔
We've spent the last 4 months slowing developing his strength through different ranges and plains of motion, whilst increasing mobility, to ensure that he's able to maintain strict form as we increase the load
We're working on the top phase of squat here, getting the hips and glutes firing to bring the body back into position. Next week we will focus on the bottom phase, developing the explosive power require to drive big weight out of the hole 🚀
Tip - The key to really progressing is to be diligent with your training 🤓 We record all Jay's numbers to ensure we get progressive overload, through various forms, on the majority of his sessions.
