Community Drop In Sessions -

Friday 21st August 12.30pm to 4.30pm
Friday 28th August 12.30pm to 4.30pm

Bring a ball and some mates for a kick about on our 3G footy pitch.

You can only wear studded boots, no trainers of any kind.

Very limited space, first come first served.

£3.50 for an hour, or £5 each for 2 hours. If we are very busy we will need to limit the time you can stay so we can give everyone a chance.

Just a reminder that our car park will remain locked at all times when there is no football activity booked in.

Groundwork is a charity that lease the football facility and car park, which makes it private land and cannot afford the private legal costs of dealing with illegal encampments.

We work on extremely fine margins trying to ensure the facility is accessible but we are also bound by the funders to replace the pitch with our own funding in a few years time and so need to build up a fund to achieve this. Any unforeseen costs make this very difficult.

We appreciate this might not be to everyone’s liking as people do like a free car park but the reality is very simple.

HALF TERM DROP IN SESSIONS -

Due to bookings and maintenance we can only offer drop in sessions on the 3G pitch on -

Tuesday 26th May 11:30am to 4pm -CANCELLED DUE TO EVERYONE HEADING TO THE BEACH, enjoy!

Only studded boots can be worn, no "astro" trainers, flat soles or any other trainers are allowed.

£3.50 for 1 hour, or £5 for any additional time, per player.

Unsupervised kick around sessions, bring a ball and your friends.

Tuesdays 5.30-6.30 (7v7 pitch)
Tuesdays 6-7.30 and 7.30-9 for Pre-season training
Wednesdays 5.30-8.30
Thursdays 5.30-6.30 (7v7 pitch)

Saturdays 9.30-12 (7v7 pitches)

All sessions are subject to weather, if there's bad weather check back here for an update on the day.

Session cost is £3.50 for 1hr, or £5 for any additional time.

Card payments preferred, come to the cafe area before entering the pitch.

STUDDED BOOTS ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE FOOTWEAR, NO TRAINERS OF ANY KIND, NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANYONE.

Please respect the equipment and our staff as you will be asked to leave if you do not.

These sessions are unsupervised kick about opportunities, so bring your mates and a ball.

FEBRUARY HALF TERM

With the weather having been so awful the last few months we will only do one day of drop in sessions over Feb Half Term so we can carry out essential maintenance on the pitch if it stops raining!

Wednesday 18th February
1pm to 5pm

These sessions are non bookable, turn up with a ball and some mates and have an unsupervised kick around on the pitch.

£3.50 for an hour, or £5 for any time over that.

ONLY STUDDED BOOTS can be worn on the pitch and please keep away from shooting from the penalty spots to prolong their lives.

A notice of warning for all customers-

Please be wary of the road outside the changing rooms as it’s absolutely flooded across the full width.

It’s been reported several days in a row by several sources, including us, but so far no resolution.

The rest of the car park and pitch are totally fine, just be careful driving through and, more importantly crossing the road.

This photo shows the reason why we insist on ALL users wearing studded boots.

The entrance way gets the highest level of footfall and is getting compacted, this will happen all over unless EVERYONE sticks to the footwear rules.

The rain will drain quickly enough once it stops dropping from the sky and thankfully the rest of the pitch is still fine so all activity can continue today.
