New junior milestones junior parkrun UK

A reminder that there are new milestones for junior parkrun. There are free wristbands for completing 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150 (and then up in 50s) junior parkruns. There are also new volunteer wristbands for juniors age 4 to 14 who have volunteered.10, 25, 50, 75 etc times across 5km and junior parkruns. Let us know if your child has reached a milestone and we can give them a wristband. The t-shirts can be purchased from parkrun.

🎉 VOLUNTEER APPEAL! 🎉

As we head into the last weekend in August (boo!) — and a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend (whoop whoop! 🙌) — we’re looking for 12 wonderful hi-viz heroes to help cheer our amazing superstars around the course!

Early planning really helps us deliver a safe event and means we can confirm early in the week that we’re able to go ahead. It’s never too early to put your name down!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ☀️

Happy Heatwave! 🥵☀️

We’re now in the middle of summer, and we’re starting to struggle for volunteers as some of our regular team jet off on their summer holidays for a well-deserved break.

We have a few essential roles that still need filling if you want to receive your result from Sunday’s run! We currently need:

⏱️ Timekeeper - filled ✅
🔻 Funnel Managers
📱 Barcode Scanners

All of these roles are essential to putting on the event — and, more importantly, making sure you get that ever-important results email! 🤩

So, if you can spare a little time on Sunday morning, we’d love to have you on the team!
