On Saturday, under a glorious blue sky the Head of the Aire was raced. A record entry of 30 scullers and crews took on the challenge of this historic competition first raced in 2019, followed by a sumptuous banquet in our lovely clubhouse. 50 members and guests cheered on Juniors, Seniors and Masters through the afternoon before medals were awarded, and we all sang Happy Birthday to Ed 😀

Bradford Sprint Regatta took place on the lovely River Aire at the end of June . 174 crews from 15 different clubs raced on the day, and the supply of cake just about lasted to the end.
Thank-you to all who entered and raced, or came to watch the competition, the umpires (we couldn't do it without you) and our brilliant club members who brought it all together.

Bradford Regatta is held on one of the lovliest venues in the UK (our opinion, and also the opinion of all our visitors). Events for Juniors, Seniors and Masters will take place on Saturday 27th June. THE ENTRY LIST IS ALREADY 75% FULL, so don't hesitiate, get entries in now!!! A brilliant weekend of racing for Bradford ARC members. At Nottingham Regatta Amy won WJ18 1x and Zoe (racing in an Agecroft crew) won W4+ ... and Beach Sprinters Ed, Sue & Sarah brought home 2 gold and 2 silver medals from the Northern Beach Sprint Cup. Congratulations to all.

Our club had a great day at York Spring Regatta on Saturday, lots of close racing and several wins at a well organised competition. Thank-You York City Rowing Club . We were particularly pleased to see our Development Juniors race for the first time, no debut medals, but plenty of smiles and good experience for their next regatta.
