Natalie Marsh - PT and Coach Hi I am a PT, strength and conditioning coach and movement trainer + details of Hula fitness classes DDMIX is a diverse dance fitness class.

Involves simple steps that anyone can master. Going through 5-7 dance genres in every class with a warm up and cool down. All you need is a pair of trainers! Hula Fitness classes uses the hoop to waist hoop mainly. This strengthens your core and we like to have fun whilst moving to music. We have a playtime where the lighter hoops come out to learn new skills and we do toning exercises followed by

relaxation finished with a good stretch. I am a qualified fitness instructor bringing the fun back to exercise.

Exercise has a mountain of benefits but what does exercise mean to me?

Exercise is way of getting together with my friends and having an excuse to have social time.

Being a PT helps me to meet new people through exercise.

It helps me to feel good which then assists me to be attentive and focused on any tasks I need to do that day.

It helps me to be resilient by turning up and getting it done even when I don’t feel like it.

It improves my mental health keeping it healthy as I then choose healthier eating options which further supports my body. thus improving my self worth and helping me stay happy.

I like to feel strong and able.

Not that my sleep needs improvement but it certainly helps to keep it regulated and good quality.

It also keeps me energised which I need to get through the busy days I lead.

There are many more that I could say as exercise is very important to me and I do some everyday.

Today is a day to not to be brave and allow yourself to have a chat with a trusted friend.

Talking openly can be the first step to a healthier mental health for everyone.

Let’s get comfortable and take some time to talk about mental health.
