Autumn is one of the best times of the year to get out hacking. Nice ground, beautiful colours everywhere and still some warmth in the sun, without being too hot.

Come join us Sunday 20th Sep for a pub ride, visiting 2 seperate pubs with 2 hours of riding time on Salisbury Plain. £85.

Our regular hacks are.
Tues and Thurs morning 9:30
Friday 17:30 (whilst light enough)
Sat 14:30.

Yesterday 2 of our horses and riders went to Rockbourne Fun ride.
Seeing the smiles on completion makes all the hard work worth it.
Both our horses behaved impeccably, filling the riders with confidence, enabling them to push themselves out their comfort zones. Well done ladies for exceeding your expectations on what you jumped.

We have had so much fun during our pony days this summer.
Today was our last one so we ended with a tack and turnout competition this morning and Gymkhana games this afternoon, enabling the kids to show off all the skills they had learnt this summer.
It was such a lovely way to end the holidays. We hope to see everyone again in October half term. We have 2 weeks of pony days the last 2 weeks of October, which are already on the system.

Living the dream giving riders the opportunity to take their riding to the next level.
Today we had clients mastering lots of new skills, from rising trot for the first time, feeling a connection between leg and hand for the first time, at the age of 9 or learning that a scratch and a give and retake of the rein does far more to settle and relax a horse than pulling back on the mouth. So many goals being smashed this summer.

Look who's back teaching...The one and only Mark Smith is back teaching and now recovered from his hard fall Point 2 Point in June (yes he went P2P in his 70s).
He will be joining us Thursday evenings from 3rd September. Mark specialises in gaining confidence and building the partnership between horse and rider. To find our more about him please check his website.
