Back to Pilates this week for Tuesday and Thursday, no Monday classes.

A couple of photos from the recent trips, the canal at Sandiacre and Hardwick Hall dodging rain showers.

And visiting Ellie and Dan in Cornwall, walking, swimming and bodyboarding in the beautiful blue seas.

Looking for Pilates in Cornwall? I may be biased but you’ll find Ellie is a lovely teacher. 🙁

✨Fancy giving Pilates a go? Your first class is FREE✨

I teach a regular morning class at Nancegollan Village Hall every Tuesday from 9am until 10am.

What to expect?

My classes tend to start standing where we run through the alignment of our bodies along with 5-10 minutes of gentle movement that starts to mobilise the body.

We then head down onto the mat where we go through a selection of exercises (either seated or laying on our fronts/backs) before finishing off with some gentle stretching.

🌿 If this sounds like something you might like to try, please ping me message and I can get you booked into a class 🌿

A few memories from our trip to Finland … may have overdone the walking 🙄

Lakes, beautiful and mostly peaceful to walk around, and world rally championships, not so peaceful but helicopters and fast cars to watch, in Jyväskylä.

Back to Helsinki for some sightseeing and taste of the local salmon soup (delicious) and a quick day trip to Tallinn, UNESCO World Heritage. Beautiful place.

Back home now and classes as usual this week:
Monday 9.30am and 10.45am at Wilton Community Centre
Monday 6pm online
Tuesday 10am and Thursday 7pm at St Francis Church Hall

As always I will adapt, modify, progress or regress to your needs, wants and also the weather.

A great week away, some dancing followed by sightseeing and walking in North Wales, Anglesey and Snowdonia.

No horrendous ridges (although a couple of scrambly bits to test me) and made it to the top of Snowdon … the top in mist but the rest if the climb had some great views.

Back home now and working on the classes for this week. I think it’s going to be another warm week … lots of breaks and fluid I think 😎

See you this week:
Wilton Community Centre, Monday 9.30 and 10.45
Online Monday 6pm
St Francis Church hall, Salisbury, Tuesday 10am and Thursday 7pm.

I’ve taken a week off and had a good time visiting Worcester and Chester on our way up to a dance competition in Stockport Town Hall.

Lovely venue and a fun competition with lots of dancing. We had a great time and I’ve edited some of our dancing for your entertainment.

We are now in North Wales and planning to walk (hike?) Snowdon tomorrow.

It’s taken a while but I’ve passed my level 4 mat Pilates course.

I love learning more about our bodies and how to help them feel and move better. I’ve been lucky to find some great trainers who are helping me on my learning journey.
Future Fit Training for the mat Pilates training (including small equipment, orthopaedic conditions and pre/post natal)

I’ve followed up with Thomas Waldron by doing the Fit Floor and Balanced Shoulder courses as well as some workshops including sciatic nerve, effortless weight bearing.
Biomechanics Education for the iMoveFreely workshop.
FitPro with a working with older adults.

Write it down and it seems quite a lot! But I’m able to bring all the things I learn into my classes to help us all move better and with more ease.
