Three years. The same hole. Three very different summers. 🌦️☀️

Well… what a blast yesterday was! ⛳️☀️🎉

A huge thank you to the High Post ladies for making Lady Captain Clare Fanner’s Away Day at Weybrook Park such an enjoyable occasion. 💐

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and a fantastic group of ladies clearly loving a day out on the course with friends. 😊🏌️‍♀️

Great company, a lovely course, good golf and fabulous food — what more could we ask for? 🍽️🥂

Congratulations to all our winners, and well done to everyone who made the day so special. What a brilliant bunch of ladies you are! 👏🏆❤️

🏌️‍♂️ US Masters Texas Scramble Open – Sunday 26th July 🇺🇸⛳

What a fantastic day at High Post Golf Club, with 36 teams and 144 players competing for the chance to reach the National Finals — and ultimately play for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the 2027 Masters at Augusta National!

A sunny but blustery day did little to slow down the scoring, with some outstanding golf throughout the field — including a brilliant hole-in-one from Tom Cartlidge on the 17th! 🎯👏

⛳️ Ladies Captain’s Day – Golf at Last! 💐

After the original date was postponed due to the extreme heat, today’s slightly cooler conditions provided the perfect opportunity for the golfing element of our Ladies Captain’s Day to finally take place.

The day featured an 18-hole Pairs Greensomes competition alongside an 11-hole Bowmaker, with plenty of great golf, laughter and friendly competition throughout.

Congratulations to all of today’s winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success – our Ladies’ Section, volunteers, Club Captain Anthony for lending a hand (and sketching the prizes!), our fantastic clubhouse team for looking after everyone so well, and, of course, our greenkeeping team, who continue to work tirelessly to present the course in excellent condition despite the ongoing drought.

A brilliant day enjoyed by all. Well played, everyone! 👏🏌️‍♀️☀️

🏆 Championships Week 2026 comes to a close!

What a fantastic week of golf we’ve enjoyed at High Post Golf Club, with superb competitions, outstanding performances and some very worthy Champions crowned across every age group and handicap category. 👏⛳

Today’s final competitions saw:

🌸⛳ A wonderful day for our Ladies’ Open Bowmaker 2026!

After a busy few weeks at the Club, it was a pleasure to welcome 13 ladies’ teams from across the region to High Post Golf Club today.

The day began with bacon rolls and coffee before competitors headed out to enjoy 18 holes across our firm downland course. Our fantastic HPGC Ladies kept everyone fuelled with delicious halfway hut refreshments, before a lovely summer buffet and a few sweet treats rounded off a fantastic day.

A huge thank you to all the ladies who travelled to play with us, as well as our Ladies’ Section, volunteers and staff who helped organise and deliver such a successful event. We look forward to welcoming many of you back later this year and again in 2027! 💚
