Another tough day at the office yesterday

Unfortunately, we bowed out of the Wilts Cup against an experienced D:I United side. Two second-half goals saw us fall behind, and although the lads dug in and battled right until the end, we just couldn’t find that goal to kick us into life.

Back to the league next as we travel to Station fc . Time to dust ourselves off and go again.

After a tough result Saturday, the lads are back at it as we head over to Viccy Park to face the old boys. 😮‍💨

D.I have had the bragging rights before… but let’s be honest, they’ve had their moment. 🤣

Time to see if the old boys have still got it… 👀

Expect plenty of tackles, plenty of chat and a few excuses ready for the final whistle.

After a short pre-season, we returned to action yesterday in the cup, facing a side we knew very little about.

Not a lot the admin can say this week… conceding two in the opening 10 minutes pretty much summed up the start. The lads just couldn’t get themselves into the game and struggled to find any sort of rhythm.

Matty got us back into it and Luke pulled off a couple of big saves to give us a bit of a lease of life, but unfortunately we just couldn’t get going and play the football we know we can.

A frustrating afternoon, but it’s only the start of the season. Plenty to work on, plenty to learn from and plenty of time to put it right.

Back to the training ground we go. 🟢⚫️

The lads have been working hard all summer, putting in the preparation and getting ready for the campaign ahead — with glory in their eyes and one goal in mind. 💪

We welcome Sarisbury Sparks in our opening game of the season, as we begin our cup campaign looking to make our mark early. 👊

After a few of the lads got a run out for the reserves at the weekend , we’re looking to kick on, build momentum and get those minutes in the legs with the season almost here. 💪⚽️

After a late change to the schedule, we’re back in action this Wednesday as we take on Laverstock & Ford U23s in another important pre-season test.

With the season edging closer, it’s another great opportunity to build fitness, gain valuable minutes in the tank, and continue working on what we’ve been building throughout pre-season.
