This Saturday the club hosts the “Stonehenge Skirmish” event at the Disc Golf Course. As a part of the English Disc Golf Association - EDGA Tour.

With 80 players from around the country and several from further a field. It’s going to be a great but busy day.

The course will be closed for public play between 09:00 and 16:30. There will be a few great viewing spots if you fancy watching. As well as a primary viewing spot on the additional hole over the road from the main course.

Tomahawk Discs will also have their pop up shop for those who want to get some equipment. From beginner sets to individual discs. This will be open before, during the lunch break & after the competition.

Today the club have been at the Stonehenge schools sports festival. Introducing disc golf to over a 1,000 students aged between 9-15.

Big thanks to Sara, Hannah, Gareth & Ben for running the day in hot conditions.

If being the second most played course in England wasn't enough. In late July we will have some rather exciting neighbours at the course. The RAF are moving their heavy lift fleet to MOD Boscombe Down right next to the course. Why not come down and enjoy a round and see if you can spot these huge planes.

Operations at RAF Brize Norton will be temporarily relocated to other UK sites until November.

What a great day at the carnival today. So many new faces trying Disc golf and even some previous winners from a few years ago.

Massive thanks to all of the volunteers who helped out. Yet another amazing job done by the Carnival committee & The Stonehenge Chamber.

Great to have a catch up with the Mayor & deputy mayor of Amesbury Town Council.

And chalkie should stick to penalties Salisbury City Football Club

Saturday the 5th September is the “Stonehenge Skirmish” event. Part of the EDGA tour.

The event will be a PDGA-sanctioned C Tier tournament held over 2 rounds on a 20 hole layout around the Amesbury course. Entry will include all the usual benefits that players have come to expect from a Stonehenge Disc Golf Club event:
Free teas, coffees and pastries at registration
Free BBQ lunch including a hot dog & burger and a soft drink
Event closing CTP shootout with a cash prize
Post-event social gathering
With the continued support of Amesbury Town Council and the Stonehenge Chamber, the club is looking to build on the success of previous years and deliver its biggest and best event yet.

Once again we will have Tomahawk Discs at the event to supply you with any disc golf needs on the day. We have plenty more planned and additional details will be announced closer to the event.

Please note that EDGA membership is required to compete. This event is part of the EDGA Tour and membership is required to play. You will remain on the waitlist until your membership is confirmed.

Entry is £30 for all players and amateurs will receive a Stonehenge Players Pack. There is a 5% service charge (£1.50) when registering, which is part of the Tjing system.
Please note that this does not include a player's pack disc.
Stonehenge Disc Golf Club Members: Due to the use of Tjing as part of the EDGA Tour, we are unable to set separate member pricing. Please speak to Ben, who will arrange your £5 member discount.
There are initially 72 places available, although this will be reviewed closer to the closing date depending on demand.
Divisions with four or fewer participants will receive a trophy for the winner only. Divisions with more than four participants will see vouchers and/or cash prizes awarded to at least the division winner, depending on division size.

Presentations & Social
Any profit generated by the event will be reinvested by Stonehenge Disc Golf Club to continue improving the course and to support the club's ongoing work with local community groups, including Cubs, Scouts and other youth organisations.
