Bit about me.....
I am a personal trainer with a life long love of all things fitness. Having said that I am a normal, realistic, life loving 50 something year old with over 30 years industry experience. I will help you set realistic, honest goals which we will work together to achieve in a friendly and fun way. I'm also honest, reliable and focused

I have a vast repertoire of exercises (bodywei

ght, resistance, kettle bell, resistance bands, mobility, flexibility etc) which ensures varied and enjoyable programming of sessions. My years in the fitness industry has taught me a lot of things and I have learnt to realise that fitness just isn't everyones 'thing' and some people realise the need to get/keep fit but have no idea where or how to start. Some people have injuries and niggles which have prevented them from exercising for many years, personal experience of such problems has helped me help many clients to over come these niggles and go on to find a new love of exercise. If you are pregnant or have recently given birth I can help you through the vulnerable months and also once your baby is born. Chasing the wrong exercises during these times can have a disastrous effect on the body. Most of all fitness should be fun and enjoyable and this is where I feel my forte lies. Trust the process.
With the prospect of going ‘on holiday’ with my super fit mate I thought it was about time I pulled myself together, got with the program, and knuckled down, put some effort in and sorted myself out. As much as I have been fairly consistent, I, like a lot of people hadn’t really been making me a priority. Training to a level of ‘self preservation’ knowing I hadn’t a lot of other stuff on.
Monday and Tuesday this week I tested my 5 rep max across the board and despite feeling I’d been strength training but not particularly training get stronger (if that makes any sense) - I was really pleased with the results. I usually train and will continue to do so using 3 sets 8-10 reps. Get it done move on. It works for me, no faffing.
Laying the scores out here as a target to beat in a few weeks time (no pressure)

Bench press 55k
Pull downs 60k
Strict press 37.5k
Inc Db press 2x24k
Leg press 100k
Glute Bridge machine 110k

Well here's a thing!!! I've been enjoying my reformer Pilates so much that I would like to share the fun with my clients so I've enrolled on a Fitness Pilates class to get me going and from there I can continue on to the Reformer course. Though this is not a Joseph Pilates course it is based upon the teachings of Joseph Pilates and effective exercise prescription which is designed to enhance posture, strength, balance and stability.
