Christmas is a time of joy, but it can also be extremely difficult for many people. Lots of people are suffering loss, having money troubles or struggling with an eating disorder.
It’s when all the posts come out about how you need to stay moving even if it’s snowing, you shouldn’t go overboard on food, you should also enjoy your food though. There’s recipes, workouts, shopping hauls and although this is fine, I want you to know that if you’re struggling you are not alone.
As a PT and someone that has experienced disordered eating most of their life I can relate to both sides of this.
I agree that it’s a crucial time for keeping motivation but I’d also be lying if I said I’m not triggered when on a rest day, where my chronic fatigue has me struggling to stay awake, I see posts about how we need to stay moving to avoid gaining Xmas weight.
Look after yourselves, do what you need to do whether that’s unfollowing accounts, staying offline for a bit or reaching out for extra support.
This isn’t a sales post, just saying I understand and it’s not just you on your own. My inbox is open if you need me 💕💕💕
