Salford University Hockey Club welcomes players of all abilities, student/local hockey enthusiasts.

1 men's and 1 women's teams play Wednesday BUCS fixtures and 1 men's and 1 women's team play Saturday North West Hockey League throughout the year, as well as taking part in the whole university competition varsity against Chester University in March. There's also the opportunity to play in a mixed team in the summer league. We have a massive social calendar planned for 2017/2018 kick-starting in Freshers Week. FRESHERS FAIR 2026

If you’re planning on playing competitive hockey at Salford this year but twice a week isn’t enough… join City Of Manchester Hockey Club 🏑💚

A lot of our students play for both teams, so you can easily balance uni hockey with club hockey!

Pre-season training with COM has already started 👀 If you don’t want to wait for uni hockey to start and want to get on the pitch sooner, message us and we’ll connect you with our current students so you can come along to a session!

• Uni hockey: Training Mondays | Matches Wednesdays
• COM hockey: Training Thursdays | Matches Saturdays

It’s a great way to get some extra hockey in, meet the team early and be ready to go when the uni season starts 💛💚
