HORR 2026 🏆

For the first time ever, 5 Agecroft boats raced the Tideway at the 100th Head of the River Race 🚣‍♂️
With a mix of ages and experience, every crew showed the same passion and determination throughout.

Our (mostly) Junior E crew took on the Tideway for the first time and set a strong result, matched by a solid performance from the Development D crew. The Senior C crew, pulled together with last-minute changes, delivered a standout row, while the B crew climbed multiple places to finish as the fastest Provincial B 🚀

Leading the charge, our A crew battled against some tough opposition and pulled ahead by a small margin to bring the Jackson Trophy back to Salford for the second year running.🏆

Huge thanks to our coaches - Harri and Helen (senior) and Matt (junior), members, and wider community - this wouldn’t be possible without you.

The NW Regional Trial to find the best junior scullers in the region was held at the Club on Sunday.

And Agecroft is super proud that three of our juniors have been selected for the national finals!

Out of nine places available, we are sending Lucia, as the fastest WJ16, along with Harper WJ16 (racing a year up), and Korben J16.

As well as this, Jess was the fastest J14 and goes forward into crew boat selection.

Well done also goes to Andrew & Noah also go forward into the crew trials next month.

Thanks to and all umpires for all their support with this event! 🧡
