We are a Level 2 squad, with an all-girl team, Athena, and co-ed stunt groups of different levels. We are the Salford Sirens; an Open Level 2 university cheerleading team. Cheerleading combines gymnastics, dance and stunts to perform in a routine. Over the past two years, we have been Division Champions at both Future Cheer and Legacy competitions. In 2016, we competed at two national competitions

, Salford vs Chester Varsity, and we also performed at Rugby’s Varsity. This season, we hope to compete in two national competitions, and to perform at other sporting events for the university.

it really was the best time with the most gorgeous group of people!! 🫶🏻 can safely say we have mems to last a lifetime😭🩷(or a 30 hour coach) ###

ICC UNI NATIONALS🏆💋🥹

wow. this comp was the BEST yet!!!!! after a season of ups and downs we are so so so proud of not just the results but the performances and attitude of our comp teams❤️

our level 2 co-ed team are your icc BRONZE NATIONAL CHAMPS😭❤️ in a tough division of 10 amazing teams, and their best result in a LONG time we truly have no words just immense pride for the improvements and talent of this team. well done level 2🙌🥹

and our level 1 team did their BEST EVER routine on that mat - they have improved week to week and got better each and every comp❤️‍🔥 our girls placed 5th in a very tough division and we could not be prouder of them with not only their routine, but as amaze cheerleaders too💋💋💋

the best end to the comp season, and the best end for our leaving comp sirens🤍 we will miss you all on these teams and we can’t wait to see what you all do next…👩‍🎓🧜‍♀️

VARSITY 2025 💙❤️‍🔥💛

WHAT.A.DAY🥹🥹🙌🙌 Both teams absolutely smashed their performances - with our competition cheerleaders taking the WINNNN with one of their strongest performances ever 🏆💋💋

The vibes were absolutely unmatched and our club was so so so supportive, positive and eventually very drunk ###

Massive shoutout to who were the LOVELIEST and so helpful throughout the day - you were all amazing🦊❤️

Words genuinely can’t explain just how proud we are of our teams, not just performance wise but the whole attitude towards the whole day 🫶🏻🥰

Our girls are SO ready for this Wednesday to compete head to head with Chester at Varsity🏆✨

On Home turf our Varsity Level 1 team are ready to take the win BACK HOME🙌🙌🙌 and our Scarletts are ready to keep you alllll entertained during half time of your rugby games, and cheer you all on during the day🌟❤️‍🔥

POWER UP⚡️🩷

On Sunday we had our second competition of the season… and our sirens did SO amazing🥹💋
After a typical siren season of injuries and hectic training our teams did so so well - BOTH PLACING SECOND IN THEIR DIVISIONS🥈👏🔥

MASSIVE shoutout to and for making this competition one of our favourites. The staff, set up and overall experience was unmatched and we can not wait to return next year🩷😆✨

Each week we are seeing improvements, for our final push of this comp season!💪🏼✨ We are so proud of both of our teams and we can not WAIT to see them perform next week…❤️‍🔥
