Ist XI tasted defeat for the first time this season in a top of the table clash away to Winton. The home side won the toss and elected to bat first. LH bowled Winton all out for 163, Lee Jones picking up 4/53 from his 14 over spell. In reply LH could only muster 68 all out with Lister Wilson hitting 30.
2nd XI got back to winning ways in a scorching hot game at the Old Vicarage. LH won the toss and batted first with some notable innings especially from Shashank Suresh hitting his first half century for LH on his way to an unbeaten 77. Tahir Patel hit 36 and A***n Kanji hit 33 on his return to the side. LH finished their 40 overs on 185/5.
Whalley Range could only reach 110 before being bowled out securing LH the bonus point. Burhan Ali deadly with the ball picking up 3 wickets for just 6 runs, Shane Lang also picking up 3 wickets from his spell.
The Woman's team hosted Bradshaw on Sunday morning.
LH won the toss and elected to field first, restricting Bradshaw to 106, Skipper Chelsea Shannan taking a wicket with Nicola Hoey also picking up one. In reply LH managed a well fought 78 from the 16 overs, Nicola hitting the highest score with 10.
The under 11s team headed to Worsley on Thursday night and picked up an impressive win, the home side won the toss and chose to field, LH posted a net score of 182, Bertie Wallwork smashing 36 runs with Ryan Robinson hitting 16 also. With the bat Worsley ended up with 75 after LH were excellent with ball and in the field, Mark Baines was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 wickets for 7
