Welcome to IronStride🏃♂️💨
Hey everyone — I’m Tom, and I’m really excited to finally share what I’ve been building with IronStride.
IronStride has been something I’ve wanted to create for a long time. It’s more than just a name — it represents my passion for helping athletes move better, feel stronger, and build confidence that lasts beyond sport.
Sport has always been a huge part of my life — I’ve grown up playing rugby, football, athletics (mainly short sprints, long and triple jump), and swimming. That love for performance and movement led me to complete a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science, where I deepened my understanding of how athletes grow, adapt, and perform at their best.
For just over 2 years, I’ve been coaching small groups of youth rugby athletes, mainly through my close ties with Trafford MV, where I now run IronStride sessions. It’s been amazing to watch athletes not only improve physically but grow in confidence and self-belief.
My goal with IronStride is simple🫡:
To create a space where young athletes can learn, grow, and take pride in their progress. Every stride forward — no matter how small — matters.
I follow Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) principles, focusing on athletic-based training that builds lasting foundations — not quick fixes. Sessions combine field work, movement mechanics, and strength development, helping athletes perform with control, power, and purpose.
