Our first Interclub of 2026 will be on Saturday 11th April, 11am kick-off for kids and adults. Plenty of novice males and females.
Two full size boxing rings, medals and a time slot running order.
Good facilities with seating, warmup area, coffee bar and a large car park.
Bouts will be limited so first come, first served 👊🏻

- Every young boxer faces a moment that has the potential to define their future, a point where doubt and fear creep in, whispering that the dream is too big, the road too hard, and maybe it’s time to quit.

It’s a critical moment, not just in their boxing journey but in their life. How they respond can, and often will, shape how they respond to hardship, and ultimately define who they will become forever.

This is when the role of a coach or mentor can become truly life changing. A great coach sees the signs of doubt, understands the weight of fear, and knows how to guide the fighter through it. They don’t just teach the fundamentals of boxing; they teach mental resilience. They remind the fighter that this feeling is normal, that even the greatest champions have stood at the same crossroads. What separates them is the choice to keep moving forward despite the trepidation.

Somehow who can explain that quitting now will set a pattern, when life gets hard, giving up will always feel like the easier option. But if they choose to push through, they’ll discover a strength that will carry them through the ring and far beyond. This moment, painful as it is, is an opportunity to build character, to teach themselves that fear is not the enemy, it’s part of the fight.

The body performs, but the mind drives it all. A coach who can navigate a fighter through this storm is just as important as one who teaches perfect technique. They’re not just shaping a boxer; they’re shaping a resilient, determined individual who knows how to rise when life knocks them down. This is how champions, both in the ring and in life, are truly made.
