Team Placements for 2025-2026 are here!!!!
We are so excited to see prospective and returning athletes for the 2025/26 season Team Placements - Thursday 3rd & Sunday 6th July
Thursday timings:
- [ ] Returning Electra athletes and NEW athletes Born 2022-2017 - 5-5:45pm
- [ ] Returning Nemesis and Apollo and NEW athletes born 2012 -2017 - 6-7:15pm
- [ ] Returning Artemis athletes plus any other athletes with a solid back handspring born 2014 or earlier- 7:30-9pm
I.e any athletes with a BHS not currently on Artemis should attend both sessions
Sunday timings:
Returning Apollo and Artemis athletes plus younger athletes by invitation only (we’ll confirm this after Thursday’s session) - 4:45- 6:30pm
Please note that the session timings above and stunt groups you may work in at these sessions are not necessarily indicative of the team you will be placed on next season.
Final placements will be determined based on age, skill set, commitment and past attendance and teams will be chosen based on the combination of athletes we think will be most competitive in their intended division, taking into account score sheets and scoring rubrics for the new season.
Divisions and levels will be finalised based on the athletes and skills we see at team placements. Please do not attend team placements if you are not returning next season. If you are intending to return next season but cannot make team placements please let one of your coaches know in a separate WhatsApp message. If you know someone who would like to join next season, please refer them to the Facebook group from which we can share more info or get in touch directly.
WHAT TO WEAR: Shorts/leggings, socks, cheer shoes, Sports bra or crop top, vest or t-shirt, ALL HAIR must be tied up neatly away from the face. NO JEWELLERY.
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle to be kept at the front entrance
WHAT TO EXPECT: Upon arrival, coaches will check everyone in and get name tags for athletes. After a short warm-up, athletes will go through various skills in stations. Athletes should be prepared to Tumble, Jump, dance and Stunt. Athletes are expected to stay with coaches during the session and should not leave the floor without permission.
WHERE TO GO: T50 Gymnastics, Walton Park Recreation, Raglan Road, Sale, M33 4AG. ALL Street shoes must be left at the door. Siblings and athletes are NOT to play on the gym equipment. Parents may stay for the session. Please park considerately when visiting the gym. Please collect your athlete from INSIDE the gym.
