On Saturday evening, we enjoyed a fantastic Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening at where we presented this squad with their international honours caps.

This is a first for the team and to honour the occasion, we went through the archives to work out every player to have represented England at senior level at a World Lacrosse (European & World Field Lacrosse Championships) tournament going all the way back to the first World Championship in 1967!

Each squad was listed chronologically, then by position and alphabetically (by surname) to give each player their own unique number in the annals of Senior England Men’s National Team history (special thanks to for his hard work in putting this together!).

We also took the opportunity to present Coach Ben McAllister with his own cap from his debut on the international scene back in 2002 (after which he then went on to play in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 & 2014!!!)

We hope that this tradition is one which goes on to bring significant pride to the players going forward at future tournaments and we aim to use this as an opportunity to bring the alumni together for their own individual and collective acknowledgements and celebrations with their own cap presentations also.

Congratulations to all on earning your caps and your numbers - we hope they bring you the pride you deserve.

INTERNATIONAL LACROSSE SHOWCASE!

We can’t wait to host NCAA D1 juggernauts this weekend at Macclesfield RUFC.

With England vs Hofstra on Saturday at 12:30 & Sunday at 14:30 and our exclusive junior clinic from 12:00 Sunday, this is set to be an incredible weekend of lacrosse for the whole community.

If you’re a junior player from U10’s - 17 years old and want the chance to learn from & play with the best players & coaches in the business, there are still places on our junior clinic available (link in bio) where you will get to meet and be coached by Division 1 players & coaches to help take your game to new heights.

If you want to come down and watch you can pay on the door (for the football fans amongst us, The FA Cup will be on after our game in the outdoor area at the venue!).

There will be England merchandise and lacrosse equipment for sale as well as raffle tickets for the chance to win exclusive Hofstra & England prizes, plus souvenir programs/brochures for the weekend.

All funds raised at the event will go towards the England Men’s National Team’s journey to San Diego for the 2023 World Championships.

We are beyond delighted to finally announce our 2-game series against NCAA DI Powerhouse this coming June!

As well as 2 huge games against the Hofstra Pride, we will also be running a junior clinic with them on Sunday 4th June, giving junior boys the opportunity to learn from the very best in the game!

We can’t wait to show the boys from Long Island what England Lacrosse is all about and hope you can all join us to make this very special occasion an event no-one will ever forget.

After a gruelling process, we are proud to name the 23 lions chosen to represent us at this summer’s World Championships in San Diego.

Huge congratulations to all those who made it and sincere commiserations to those who missed out on this occasion.

This team is much more than the 23 who made the flight and those who missed out this time will play a huge part in our successes come June.

Another big weekend in the books for the boys in the Road To San Diego.

2 games back-to-back, 2 wins, 15 goals scored and just 6 conceded en route to retaining the Home Internationals Trophy against our local rivals Scotland & Wales.

With the final squad selection coming this week, the boys held off strong fights from the opposition to finish the weekend as deserved champions and leave the staff with challenging decisions to make on selecting the final 23-man roster.

Best of luck to all the 30 warriors in contention for the final spots, every single one of you deserve to wear the shirt with pride.

Introducing our 30-man roster of 🦁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🥍 warriors competing for a spot for the World Championships in San Diego!

The squad will continue to train and compete at the Home Internationals tournament in April before the final 23-man World Championship roster is announced.

Good luck to all this who remain in contention for the exciting journey ahead.

Come and train with the 🦁 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 boys!

The Senior Men’s National Team will be hosting a junior coaching clinic at Stockport Lacrosse Club on Sunday 2nd April from 10:00 - 12:30.

This is a fantastic opportunity for boys from U12 - U17 age groups to learn from and play with the best in the country with competitive drills, small-sided game play, technical footwork & handling as well as the chance to test yourself against the England goalies and show off your skills in a range of competitions!

Exclusive Team England Merchandise will be available and all funds raised from the clinic will go towards helping our players in their journey to San Diego for the 2023 World Championships.
