Throwback to Easter weekend and our favourite tournament down at Salcombe RFC. Sadly it wasn't the trophy we came for but it was an honour to be recognised by the rugby club for our achievements over the last 10 years. We couldn't have done it without the support of and who we love visiting and representing every year. Thanks so much to everyone and here's to a successful season. 👑🦐🏆 @ Winking Prawn

PLAYER PROFILE #28 - Joe "Juif" Mason (): The King Prawns are very pleased to announce that the self-proclaimed quickest prop in London 2 is finally going to be given the stage that his sheer pace truly deserves. Marrying the technical set-piece prowess of Perry Freshwater with the out and out pace of Dan Lugar, this Kings stalwart has it all. Joe’s ability with numbers allows him to keep track of his own stats during games. We all hope he reproduces his astronomical turnover counts at Egham this weekend.

PLAYER PROFILE #27 - Mikey "the Stunner" Hill (): The self-styled stunner makes his prawns debut on loan from our friends the . String-pulling abilities and liquid hips, coupled with a natural tactical nous (which may or may not be attributed to his uncanny likeness to a certain football manager) more than make up for the lead-lined boots he insists on wearing. Mikey is reportedly most looking forward to pulling on some decent stash; left to his own devices he has an unnatural affinity for committing crimes against fashion. Look out for Mikey on the pitch, because his inability to get through more than 2 beers before he becomes a total wreck or turns his attention to furtive discussions "about work" means you're unlikely to see much of him afterwards.

Tall - check, dark - check, handsome - check; () Rory “BUCKO” Buckingham’s lack of self awareness has lead to intermittent showings, however after years of pleading (and sign off from the old girl) he finally gets his big teur call up to the Prawns. With a fantastic work ethic and surprising speed given his physique of a pudgy giraffe, BUCKO is a welcome addition to the Prawn’s (no longer) vertically challenged forward contingent. A friendly chap, for fans young and old, stay clear of those snake hips in the beer tent - they’ll getcha (gurl).

With an incomprehensible surname and bewildering passion for cider, Peter ‘Big Pete’ Januszewski () joins the ranks for having impressed in his victorious Prawns debut last week at . At well over 6 foot, Pete significantly raises the average height of the Prawns, an asset at kick off and the breakdown; though he will mainly be utilising it to scout the beer tent for his Irish bride.
