Join us on the last Tuesday of every month for an evening that perfectly blends social cycling, great food and relaxed coastal vibes. Beers, Burgers, Bikes is all about good company, quiet roads and rewarding the effort with something seriously tasty at the finish.

Each ride lasts around 1.5 hours, covering approximately 15–18 miles on a circular route starting and finishing at Salcombe Bike Hire. The terrain is punchy and challenging in places — this is South Hams after all — but we stick to beautiful, quiet country lanes and keep the atmosphere friendly and inclusive. It’s not a race. We ride together, regroup when needed, and make it an enjoyable shared experience. We’ll mix up the routes each month to keep things fresh and showcase the best riding the area has to offer.

Back at base, the hard work is properly rewarded with a gourmet burger and a craft beer, included as part of the evening. It’s a chance to refuel, unwind and chat with like-minded cyclists in a relaxed, social setting. Whether you’re local to Salcombe or just down for the summer, this is your monthly excuse to ride hard and eat well.

We are selling our e bike fleet to replace with a new fleet for 2025.

These Trekking 4 e bikes have been amazing. They have everything you would need to get you up the hills of Salcombe and the surrounds.

The aluminium alloy frame offers a comfortable upright riding position that offers great visibility on city streets alongside nimble handling. Hydraulic disc brakes give you powerful all-weather stopping control while the Shimano 1x9 speed drivetrain gives you a wide range of gears for efficient riding.

Cycling is much easier on the Trekking 4 thanks to the Yamaha electric motor providing 60nm of tourque and 500Wh battery pack which boosts your natural pedalling power. There are four power modes, along with a walk assist button, so you can adjust the power output so you can manage the battery capacity to last the whole ride. The handlebar mounted display unit allows you to monitor the battery and select the power modes on the fly.

The Trekking 4 is equipped with mudguards to keep the spray down on wet roads and a rack to carry your luggage. The kick stand makes parking easier and there is even an integrated lock. Front and rear lights are integrated into the design so you will always be ready for night-time cycling.

We have 4 medium/large frames to suit anyone 5’7 and above.
